Jennie Hovard Dip OSSM
Company Director and Lead Therapist
Jennie completed her Level 5 Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage in 2015 through the Oxford School of Sports Massage (OSSM). Using advanced soft tissue techniques and Pilates, Jennie can assist with rehabilitation of pain related to injury, sport, lifestyle, or posture.
Jennie also provides pre and post event support at a number of local events. She takes great pride in her professionalism, holds high standards for her practice, and aims to keep her knowledge up to date. Jennie is a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA). In 2018, Jennie returned to OSSM in the role of tutor assistant.
Jennie originally studied education at The University of Stirling – Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence. Throughout her time at the university Jennie was immersed in the sporting world – she took up a number of sports including running, weight lifting, water polo, aerial silks, and netball, held a part time job at a local bicycle shop, and took part in the Sports Innovation Challenge.
Jennie’s goal is to help others to access the physical, mental, social, and emotional benefits that she has experienced through engaging with sport and fitness. This, and her curiosity about the musculoskeletal system, lead Jennie to pursue a career in soft tissue therapy.
